Dr. Susie Kalinian DMD, Pediatric Specialist
Dr. Kalinian is dedicated to providing your child with the highest quality of comprehensive dental care, in a comfortable, caring and relaxed environment.Specializing in the unique oral healthcare needs of infants, children and teens, Dr. Kalinian treats healthy and medically compromised children using conventional methods of behavior management, nitrous oxide and sedation. Her goal is to provide a dental home for each child and a resource for parents where cavity prevention and dental education is key.Originally fromFresno, California, Dr. Kalinian received her Bachelor of Science degree in Bio-Physiology from CaliforniaState University, Fresno and minors in Armenian Studies and Chemistry. She completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, graduating with awards and honors. Two years later, Dr. Kalinian completed her Pediatric Specialty training at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and MiamiChildren’s Hospital.
After successfully practicing for several years on the East Coast, Dr. Kalinian decided to return to her hometown to open Pediatric Dental Associates. She is an active member of the Fresno-Madera Dental Society, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Acting, singing and dancing at an early age, and having graduated from Roosevelt Performing Arts High School and Holland Project Talent Junior High, Dr. Kalinian also has a background in theatre and the arts, which often comes in handy when relating to her pediatric patients! She produced an award-winning documentary film entitled, William Saroyan: The Man, The Writer and has traveled around the world since 1991, lecturing and presenting the documentary at various fundraisers.
